Hello, my name is Chenxu Niu. I’m a Ph.D. student of Computer Science at Texas Tech University starting from May 2019. Now I am a research assistant in Data-Intensive Scalable Computing Laboratory (DISCL) and my advisor is Dr. Yong Chen. My current research interests are high-performance computing and distributed metadata indexing for scientific Data Management.

I received my M.S. degree in information technology from University of Science and Technology of China in 2018. Before embarking on my computer science journey, I got my bachelor degree in Mathematics from University of Science and Technology of China in 2015.
